The Impact You’ll Be Making

As the Modern Worship Associate for Students, you will lead, direct, and plan worship for Elementary, Middle School, and High School ministries. You will create and nurture relationships with our students, with a special focus on developing youth musicians as worship leaders and mentoring them in the development of their faith. You will schedule bands for all youth programs (Kids, Middle School and High School) including Sunday and weekday programs, camps, retreats, and other events as scheduled. You will ensure that all music is keyed in an appropriate range and is theologically sound. You will also regularly collaborate with the Kids + Students Directors to ensure alignment of vision and services. As an integral part of the modern worship team, you will work with the Modern

Worship Director to plan for the future of modern worship and invite other modern worship team members to worship with our students.

Who We Are Looking For

Skills & Knowledge

• Committed and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Demonstrated passion for leading God’s people in worship
• Demonstrated passion for walking alongside youth on their discipleship journey
• Experience with student ministries strongly preferred
• Proficiency in voice and guitar or keyboard required, additional proficiency with bass and/or drums preferred
• Experience teaching instrumental music and music theory
• Understanding and ability to teach healthy vocal production
• Proficiency with music programs such as Ableton Live, Logic, DAW preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, set up and take down stage and other heavy equipment regularly
