Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.
- Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
- Ensures that monitors are functioning properly.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Experience:
- CNA experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association and Basic Arrhythmia certification within 90 days
