Job Description

Position Summary:

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the efficiency of the quality system.
• Maintain Inspection records.
• Interpret drawings and part specifications.
• Implement Inspection documentation for manufacturing products from Master Control and SAP.
• Document nonconformances in the quality system and participate as needed in the Discrepancy Report (DR)/Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) system.
• Perform inspection of final products produced in assigned area’s and maintain accurate documentation per SOP’s, WI’s, Forms, etc.
• Assist IQA with receipt, movement, and documentation of incoming materials.
• Assist management and site with revision of departmental processes to ensure continual improvement.
• Follow GMP, wearing accurate PPE for assigned work area’s
• May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and / or assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance and/or Incoming Material Inspection Quality Control. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Hands on attitude to get things done with the ability to manage change to a successful conclusion.
• Ability to effectively communicate persuasively across the whole organization
• Must be a self-starter who can take general concepts and direction and produce desirable results.
• Willingness to undertake on the job training in all areas of the Quality Management System.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks functions optimally.
• Strong quality background and problem analysis and decision-making skills such as six sigma/PPI.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, SAP and standard computer applications.

Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Basic understanding of Quality practices, cGMP regulations and ISO 9001 and ISO13485 standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge, influence, and build consensus.
• Detail oriented and has the ability to lead multiple activities assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Normal office and manufacturing environment.
• Position may require frequent communication and walking to other areas in which designated PPE will be required.
• Position will require sitting and standing.
• Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
