NDT Assistant (Local to the Corpus Christi, TX Area) Job at Versa Integrity group, Inc.
POSITION OVERVIEW: NDT Assistant (Local to the Corpus Christi, TX Area). Employee will work as a member of local call out crews performing x-ray, PT, MT, UT as needed. Candidate must be flexible and responsive when call for assignments and willing to work after hours and weekends when necessary.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The RT Assistant will assist the Level II Technician performing inspections applying various NDT techniques in accordance with applicable specific code, procedure, and or written criteria. The Assistant may calibrate instruments or perform other duties under the supervision of a certified Level II Technician. Candidate must be able to provide an approved 40 Hour Radiation Safety Class certificate. Must be able to pass DISA and or DOT background and drug screening.
