Summary: Responsible for managing the Company’s on-premise and cloud network infrastructure and systems, Including the corporate office and three manufacturing plants. Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the company’s core networking technologies, leading improvement projects and sustaining efforts. This is an exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades, patches and secures IT infrastructure systems and technology including LANs, VLANs, WANs, Wireless Networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DMZ, VPNs (branch office and user), and VMWare at all locations.
• Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades, patches and secures IT hardware including firewalls, VM farms, routers, proxy servers and switches
• Configures, maintains and supports the networking of company cloud-based solutions that use MPLS and IPsec.
• Proactively ensures the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability.
• Ensures servers and storage areas are suitably specified and sized to meet the business requirements to minimize risk and impact of downtime due to equipment failure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, experience and education that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of this position.
• 5 years’ experience in network engineering and knowledge of and strong experience with server virtualization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, WANs, routers, VM farms and other networking equipment and systems.
• Outstanding technical expertise, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, travel up to 10% to CA plants, available for occasional off-hour support, and lives in proximity to corporate office in Vancouver, WA, as onsite coverage and working with physical network equipment is required on occasion.

Compensation:

The salary range is $88,640 - $132,960. Typically, the hiring range for this position is $88,640 - $110,000, based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
