New England Clinical Practice Seeking Neuropsychologist:

Clarus Health Alliance is an independent practice providing behavioral health services for individuals in the central and southeast regions of Connecticut. We are recruiting full time (or part time) adult and pediatric neuropsychologists to provide services for individuals presenting with complex questions involving neurological and psychiatric conditions. The neuropsychologist will be primarily assigned to our Norwich, CT, location.

Over the past 30 years, we have cultivated strong relationships with a wide range of referral sources in the communities surrounding Norwich and New London. Our referrals come from a variety of sources, including primary care, neurology, local schools, universities, community mental health centers, local hospitals, independent physician offices, attorneys, and employee health centers. We provide additional services including pre-employment screenings, fitness for duty exams, workers compensation exams, and IMEs. We utilize a technician model, which increases productivity and provides a better quality of life for our doctors.

In addition to excellence in clinical care, we are passionate about training the next generation of neuropsychologists. Each year, we recruit neuropsychology practicum students from local universities. As a part of the training year, students are mentored on research projects that can be presented at conferences and developed into publications.

Competitive applicants must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an APA accredited graduate program and completed an APA accredited internship program. It is expected that all neuropsychologist staff members have completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship focused on specialty training in clinical neuropsychology. Also, applicants must be licensed or license-eligible for independent practice in the state of Connecticut.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in neuropsychological assessment, strong written communication skills, capability to see a wide range of conditions, and a keen interest in training graduate-level students.
