For more than a century, Hansen Corporation has kept motors ticking. Our Princeton plant manufactures a synchronous motor, which is hand-held sized and is used is a wide variety of products from HVACs to school clocks to Dampers. We ship to customers all over the world.

Our Assembler puts pieces together as the product progresses through the assembly line until the Synchron motor is complete. Assembler role may also include testing motors for defects, as well as packaging motors for shipment.

Essential Functions

· Fine grasping and manipulation of small pieces.

· Performs processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, had or foot operated equipment, or electronic and pneumatic tooling.

· Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

· Maintains the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

· Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

Production line environment with a variety of sit-down or stand-up processes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level of the environment may be loud, depending on the area you are working in.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, starting at $14.50 per hour but night shift also gets a $1.50 shift differentle so they start out at $16.00 per hour. We are currently in a high volume environment, so current hours are :

1st Shift : Monday – Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm

Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

2nd Shift : Monday – Thursday 5:30 pm to 4:00 am

Friday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Some Saturdays during current high volume.
