Job Description:

The Front of House Night Manager is responsible for the evening operation and management of the restaurant, The Albatross, as well as help in online operations. They are responsible for supervising front of house staff and for reporting to the Clubhouse Manager, coordinating with the Front of House Day Manager, the Bar Manager and Back of House Manager/Executive Chef.

Manage the Reception, Telephone/online ordering, Customer Service, Reservations, and cleaning.

Deliver the professional greeting of clients and visitors, to the highest standards

Ensure the team leaders and supervisors coordinate their staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional front of house services.

Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence

Develop strong communication and line reporting procedures to guide service implementation making improvements or changes where required

Implement safe working practices to ensure safety of building occupiers and visitors

Lead monthly management report meetings with Owner, Superintendent, and Clubhouse manager and build strong relationships with key business leaders.

• Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision

• Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the outlets are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained

• Responsible for daily deposits, and the correct operation of the POS systems

• Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS

• Inventory and maintenance of par levels for front of house items and those used within.

• Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees

• Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area

• Assist with online ordering function management

• Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines

• Work closely with the Back of House Manager to provide a seamless experience

• 2+ years restaurant experience

• Currently seeking or completed Bachelor’s degree in a Hospitality related field (optional)

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word and excel and Google applications including sheets, docs and gmail. Knowledge of Canva and other relative creative graphic applications.

• High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances-keep all front of house in line with company standards

• Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time and lift minimum 50 lbs.

• Experience using POS systems preferred (Toast)

• Servsafe training preferred;

• Must pass background check
