WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike Virtual Studios is looking for a Director, Education & Operations to own strategy and lead the team that manages all channels (expect social) that consumers will use to engage with Nike Virtual Studios, design and deliver education curriculum for our community and manage the operations of our tools and capabilities to enable set up of our virtual collections sales.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, able to work cross functionally, and has an entrepreneurial spirit and extensive customer service and training experience in a constantly evolving environment. You should love to problem solve, influence to inspire change and be passionate about innovating the way we serve and support our Nike Virtual Studios' consumers and community. Strong communication skills and feeling comfortable working with multiple partners and managing a team are essential to being successful in this role. You must have an interest and understanding of the inner workings of web3, Metaverse, blockchain, and NFT technologies and believe in building the future of an inclusive platform.



WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, we empower you to own and evolve the learning curriculum to advise and educate our community. You will do this by collaborating with the content and design teams to create relevant learning materials and defining metrics to ensure that our content is effective and engaging for our community. We will enable you to build workflows and queuing systems with third party partners to handle the scale of customer support questions. We also expect you to manage live operations through implementing tools and capabilities to facilitate our virtual collections sales. Additionally, you will identify and address all FAQs regarding our ecosystem and proactively seek out ways to provide a premium consumer experience.



WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
At Nike Virtual Studios, you will be a part of a core team of product managers, engineers, data scientists, community managers, marketers, strategists, merchandisers, and business development to move quickly in the space. You will operate in a fast-paced startup environment.


WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in customer/consumer services industry and/or building education curriculum for a digital community
  • Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing world class customer service and/or education programs in digital, retail, e-commerce or similar types of environments required
  • Ability to create and enforce best in class customer service guidelines to provide a premium experience for our consumers and community
  • Passion for sport, culture, and the Nike brand, as well as web3, blockchain, NFT, and Metaverse design philosophies
  • Ability to connect with, understand, and design for the nuances of our audiences, from sub, to pop, to mass-culture
  • Ability to use the power of language, wit, and creativity to positively impact and continually engage our online communities
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and quickly shift and adapt to an evolving environment

This role will be based out of Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY.
