Central Bethany seeks an engaging Non-Profit Operations Manager to oversee various essential areas of our newly-developed Market Hall located in the Gresham area, especially in the area of communications, working with non-profits, community outreach and operations. Rockwood Market Hall provides a vibrant gathering space for residents and visitors while featuring micro- and standard-size restaurants, micro-grocers and retailers, in addition to commercial office spaces, all surrounding a central community plaza.

The successful candidate will be comfortable effectively overseeing and carrying out property operations, tenant communications, event management and some public relations, as well as general business management and marketing initiatives. This leadership position will play a crucial role on our Property Management team and be a primary point of contact for tenants, partners, and vendors.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations of the Market Hall including tenant relations, commissary kitchen management, and cold storage management
  • Competency in working with various cultural backgrounds
  • Effectively and positively communicate with community members and build/maintain necessary relationships
  • Assist in supervising facilities team and ongoing maintenance/repairs of the Market Hall
  • Coordinate Market Hall and public plaza events for the Rockwood community
  • Conduct commercial tenant relations as the first point of contact for inquiries related to work orders, leasing, tours, orientation, and turnover.
  • Regular reporting to board of directors and corporate office on Market Hall operations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years leadership experience in property management, operations, communications &/or events
  • 1+ years experience in supervisory/management role
  • Experience working in non-profit and public relations a plus!
  • Highly personable, relationship-driven, service-oriented
  • Successful multitasker-able to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities and focus on completing them on time; excellent time-management skills
  • Technological proficiency-able to operate in data-driven environment with various tools and online platforms
  • Good judgement; ability to be self-starting and proactive
  • Collaborative team player
