The overall responsibility of a Preparation Cook is to perform various food preparation, cooking and cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen remains efficient in creating and delivering dishes for our guests, which results in the diner running smoothly and our guests returning.

KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

• Familiar with and practice all company standards related to position.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
