General Summary: An exempt position responsible for managing the daily operations related to nursing care in line with clinical practice standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Oversees clinical nursing care, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical record documentation.
Provides direct supervision to nursing staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patient health. Act as the problem-solving resource for staff and patient issues. Examines the needs of staff and patients, as well as trends in workflow, and suggests solutions to ongoing patient care and system problems.
Collaborates with Chief Nursing Officer on development and implementation of nursing department’s mission, goals, policies, procedures, and work standards.
Assists the Chief Nursing Officer in compiling/analyzing data on patient outcomes, quality assurance results, and performance/productivity
Participates in medical practice planning related to clinic and emergency/disaster response system.
Collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer in the process of recruiting, selecting, orienting/training, and evaluating nursing staff.
Coordinating and scheduling vaccines for all ID Care staff according to employee health policy.
Collaborate with Chief Nursing Officer and other Clinical Nurse Managers in the development and implementation of continuous and yearly clinical staff training based on OSHA and ID Care policies and procedures.
Assist Human Resources/employee health in scheduling vaccine administration to ID Care employees as needed.
Clinical supply and vaccine inventory oversight.
Education: BSN from accredited school of nursing
Experience: Minimum five years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience, preferably in medical practice setting.
Other Requirements: Current state RN license. Current CPR certificate.

Equipment Operated: Standard nursing equipment and office equipment including computer hardware and software.
Work Environment: Combination of office, exam, and other clinical settings. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, biohazards, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic setting.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds. Occasional stress caused by multitasking and level of responsibility.

Candidate must travel to Oakhurst, East Brunswick, Freehold, Mercerville and Old Bridge.
- Influenza: All employees of ID Care shall be provided the influence vaccine. Employees will be required to obtain the influenza vaccine by December 1 of each calendar year.
- Covid: As of 8/1/2021, current ID Care employees will be required to be fully vaccinated. Employees may receive the vaccine from a provider, pharmacy, or outside health facility of choice. Staff are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
- Effective 1/3/2022 Administration of an additional dose of vaccine 2 months after a JNJ vaccine and 6 months after an mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) are required to be fully vaccinated.
