This Opportunity:
The Outpatient Nurse Manager is primarily responsible for supervising, planning, coordinating, providing leadership, and directing the administrative and medical support activities for assigned Outpatient Clinics, under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, Outpatient Administrative Services.
What You'll Do:

This position provides leadership and coordination within the area of responsibility and serves as a tactical point person as it relates to the care of the people we support, staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development and corporate-wide success.

Work directly with the Vice President of Operations, to develop and monitor systems to ensure administrative and medical support duties for the outpatient offices are completed effectively, accurately, at a high level, and within agency specified timelines, including all evidenced based practices for the assigned service. Duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing processes such as timesheets, payables, billing, staff education, Human Resources (HR) processes, triage, administrative documentation.

Develop a system of clear communication for staff, including, but not limited to, holding regular staff meetings to facilitate dissemination of accurate and up-to-date information, preparation, and distribution of weekly memos, one-to-one communication, etc. Ensure systems that are in place provide a means for effective communication, interfacing with providers, managers, and staff.

Develop a mechanism to ensure staff schedules and general daily operations meet the demands of the people being supported; also analyzing patient flow problems and assist in instituting corrective actions.

Function as an electronic health record super user working closely to ensure that appropriate training, error monitoring and corrections are completed in a timely manner. Complete investigations regarding administrative operation incidents and complaints as received both internally and externally. Provide supervisory follow-up as needed.

Provide effective administrative supervision and oversight, as applicable and within generally accepted agency guidelines, to assigned geographical area and staff.

Maintain familiarity with all external and internal standards. Responsible for assuring systems are in place to monitor program compliance to fidelity and auditing.

Ensure that equipment and supplies that the providers require are readily available at the time they are needed and in emergencies; includes medications, lab processing and notification of emergency medical services when indicated.

Implement infection control and standard precautions.

Oversee and control stock drugs and controlled substances, including monitoring of all clinical logs for accuracy and completion.

Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.

Monitor and manage finances in a fiscally sound manner within the guidelines established by Executive Management.

Driving and travel is required.

Maintain trainings as required and requested.

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.

Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.

Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
