R. C. Hospice Care, INC. is looking for a registered nurse with palliative care experience minimum of 3 years. Please email your resume, so that we can set up an interview. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. A Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or from an accredited program.

2. Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California.

3. Current BCLS certification.

4. Three years nursing experience in hospice or home health in the past five years.

5. Valid state driver's license and reliable automobile, current automobile insurance and

6. be willing to operate personal car necessitated by nature of job.

7. Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.

8. Completes annual educational requirements.

9. Maintains regulatory requirements.

10. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

11. Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time.

12. Wear identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly.

13. Resolves personnel concerns, utilizing the grievance process as required.

14. Attends at least 75% staff meetings, 100% IDT meetings, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes.

15. Complies with organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

16. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding operations, fire, safety and infection control.

17. Effectively and consistently communicates administrative directives to personnel and encourages interactive meetings and discussions.

18. Actively participates in the organization's performance improvement activities.

19. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.

SKILLS

1. Basic Computer knowledge

2. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

3. Strong written and verbal skills.

4. Additional languages preferred.

5. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the functions of a hospice organization.

6. Ability to plan, coordinate, direct and control the health services of a hospice.

7. Competency in general nursing theory, techniques and practice.
