PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER NEEDED FOR OUTPATIENT ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT (ACT) TEAM IN GENEVA, NY

40 HOURS PER WEEK, NON-PROFIT

Salary: $102,695 - $136,431*

Centered in Geneva, NY.

ACT teams are multi-disciplinary and include members from psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, substance abuse and vocational rehabilitation. They deliver comprehensive and flexible treatment, support, and rehabilitation services to individuals in their natural living settings rather than in hospital or clinic settings. This means that interventions and skills teaching are carried out at the locations where individuals live, work, and socialize and where support is needed.

  • Treat people and go home without worry. Base salaries are for a true 40-hour work week (i.e., no unpaid work time expected).
  • No insurance hassles. As a NYS employee you are indemnified by law which provides much broader coverage regarding malpractice concerns than usual insurance.
  • Paid days off: 12 Holiday, 13 Vacation, 13 Sick and 5 Personal days paid PER YEAR
  • Excellent benefits package.
  • New York State medical, prescription, dental, and vision care benefits
  • Tuition benefits and reimbursements may be available
  • Defined Benefit Pension plan with the NYS Retirement System
  • Retirement savings plan offered through NYS Deferred Compensation
  • Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
