Nurses for Corrections Job at Medfirst Staffing
MedFirst Staffing is seeking a Nurses (RN's and LPN's) for a full time 12-hour shifts, Days (6a-7p) and every other weekend, for a correctional facility located in Fairfax, SC. Must be able to complete a 3 week orientation.
Nurses Position Details:

Nurses Job Requirements:
- South Carolina Nursing License in good standing
- Current PPD
- CPR certificate
- Clean background checks, including SLED report
- Negative drug screen
- Proven history of reliability
- Excellent clinical skills
- Willingness to float to other units if necessary

Responsibilities of the Correctional Nurse:
· Assist physicians provide and monitor direct patient care.
· Triage when necessary.
· Screening of those with health complaints.
· Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
· Initiate emergency interventions and take first aid measures.
· Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
