Nutrition Assistant Job at Bear Valley Community Hospital
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services department, performs a variety of simple, routine, unskilled tasks related to the preparation and serving of food; cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils; operates dishwashing equipment.
- Food Service experience is preferred
- Able to understand English, both written and verbal
- Must be able to read and follow directions for dietary plans as set forth on tray cards
- Must maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification or Serv Safe Certification
- Prefer a minimum of High School Graduate or GED
- Maintains a current BLS certification. (Required within 3 months of hire)
