Join a great interdisciplinary team in our unique outpatient ortho clinic, new grads welcome to apply! We have regular interaction with our Orthopedic surgeons, so there is opportunity for mentorship, growth, and learning. We work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, (no weekends or holidays!) with the option to work four - 10-hour shifts. Your day.

As an Outpatient OT, you need to know how to:

• Provides assessment, treatment and education in the areas of independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities and assistive equipment and splinting/positioning mechanics
• Evaluates patients, schedules and establishes appropriate treatment goals, along with anticipated outcomes, and delivers skilled physical assessments and treatments effectively.
  
• Delegates/supervises effectively within scope of authority to students, assistants and technicians.
• Reassesses patient’s progress, revises treatment plan and modifies goals when appropriate

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required.
  
• Current/valid state Occupational Therapist licensure is required
  
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, preferably in a clinic setting

Preferred:

• Masters' degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred.
  
• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
