Description/Job Summary
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Support department Management in all task and responsibilities.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5 - 10 years' experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Window Programs, Excel, Power Point, Accounting
III. TRAINING
Refer to Master Training Plan
IV. AUTHORITY/DECISION MAKING
Completion of task and duties assigned.
V. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
- Consistently demonstrates safe work habits.
- Adhere to all company rules and policies.
- Demonstrates good housekeeping by ensuring assigned area is kept clean.
- Works efficiently with other employees in order to meet plant and department goals in safety, quality, production and housekeeping.
- Follows oral and written instructions from higher management.
- Works and cooperates with other departments within the plant.
- Attends scheduled department safety and training meetings.
- Available for overtime.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Perform job task without supervision.
A. JOB TASKS & DUTIES
1. DOCUMENTED INFORMATION
a. Maintain and control of all documented information for Central Maintenance
2. WORK ORDERS
a. Prepare and reconcile monthly w/o', create invoices
3. PAYROLL
a. Coordinate with supervisors and assist accounting with payroll.
b. Coordinate with temporary agencies for the assistance with payroll.
4. SAFETY MEETINGS
a. Schedule safety meetings.
b. Maintain and control records.
c. Maintain employees training files.
5. OFFICE SUPPLIES
a. Initiate purchase requisition for supplies and material needed for the maintenance shop.
6. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (PM'S) AND ROUTE CHECKS
a. Ensure all schedule PM's and route checks are given to appropriate personnel for maintenance and received to enter into the AS400.
7. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
a. Any and all other duties of responsibilites that lie within the guidelines of a normal job description and/or determined by manager.
8. MONTH END CLOSING
a. Assist supervisor and manager with shop employee monthly targets, material expenses, invoices, be precise with earnings coming in to the department.

- Copiers, Fax, Printer and phones Daily as needed
- Stapler Daily as needed
- Rulers, tape measures Daily as needed
- Scissors Daily as needed
- Ear plugs Daily as needed
- Safety Glasses Daily as needed
C. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
A. Climbing stairs, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
B. Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
C. Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.
Example: Changing paper in printer, copier machine.
D. Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
E. Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
G. Reaching, extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Example: Giving signals, reaching for material or handle on item.
H. Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
Example: Making copies, giving presentations, directing traffic.
I. Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
M. Fingering, picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling.
N. Grasping, applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.
O. Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; via face to face or telephone.
P. Repetitive motions, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Example: Filing, sorting mail, starting ignition of machinery.
