Pay Range: $22.00 to $26.00 an hour

PACT MSO has a busy Internal Medicine Group with multiple locations seeking an Office Coordinator. The position is located primarily in Milford but may support office locations in West Haven, New Haven, Orange and Guilford as needed. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:15pm with rotating Saturday mornings.
The Office Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the practice and performing a variety of administrative functions related to the daily operations of the practice. This position performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities in a manner that places emphasis on quality patient care and customer service while overseeing the office needs and supporting management. This position must work collaboratively with all staff, fostering an environment which promotes patient comfort and trust. This position must exemplify the core values of the organization, always exercising utmost discretion,
diplomacy and tact in patient/staff interactions.
Essential Functions
- Works with management to ensure office is fully staffed on a daily basis. This includes handling call outs and allocation of staff.
- Trains and rotates office staff through various office duties to ensure cross coverage.
- Assess staff performance and communicate it to management. Assist manager with 90 day review on all new employees and annual reviews on established employees.
- Works with Management Team to develop, implement, and monitor effectiveness of the office.
- Assures staff meets deadlines on projects assigned.
- Oversee the daily office workflow to ensure full functioning of the office. Assess daily needs and through management makes any changes.
- Serves as primary resource to office staff on administrative matters including, but not limited to: patient flow, office operations, customer service,
- Be back up to staff positions.
- Contact patients to address any concerns or issues.
- Travel between offices may be required.
- Involved in new hire training and orientation.
- Maintains all training materials.
- Provides direct feedback regarding employee's orientation progress and creates action plans in conjunction with management.

- Other responsibilities as necessary
Skills and Knowledge
- Communication skills
- Full understanding of intake, check out and medical assistant role in assisting providers
- Demonstrated experience using EHR
- Proficient in Word and Excel
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in medical office
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care required
- EPIC experience required
- 3+ years of experience with administrative work
