Office Manager Job at FPL FOOD, LLC
Job Summary:
The Office Manager oversees the administrative operations to ensure efficient and accurate completion of daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of office/administrative tasks, as well as completing various accounting related functions. This person will be able to work independently with little or no supervision and must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, self-motivated, and independent.
Job Duties and Primary Functions:
- Review accounts payable invoices (assign coding) and statements
- Assign numbers for new Pos issued
- Assist in commodity inventory tracking, working with the GM and Asst. GM
- Maintain Accu-Trac system and MICRO pricing for Chatel
- Complete closeouts when cattle are shipped
- Reconcile local bank account monthly
- Assist Accounting with month-end closing procedure
- Monitor equipment inventory
- Ensure accurate and timely operational and financial reporting
- Serve as point-person for all HR and Safety matters
- Supervise Office Clerk to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist employees with Human Capital Management and Learning Management Systems.
- Performs administrative functions for the HR department and assist with planning for HR Department events.
- File and Coordinate HR Records
- Respond / Investigate to Incidents that occur in the facility
- Provide safety audits and inspections throughout the facility
- Ensure associate compliance with GMP, dress code and FPL policies
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Competent knowledge of computer fundamentals including MS Word and Excel
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Leadership ability to manage and oversee employee(s)
- MAS 500 and/or M3 experience a plus
- Agriculture experience a plus
Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and days, and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm however must be open to staying late as needed to complete task and possibly work ½ days on Saturdays, if needed.
