As a Controller, you will work with an experienced CFO to help Thrivable implement and maintain robust financial, regulatory, and compliance systems.

As Controller, you will:

• Oversee and manage accounting, including financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, and accountant relationship
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Manage compliance for the People function, including payroll, federal/state filings, and essential onboarding/offboarding functions
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and ensure that financial goals align with overall company objectives.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Solid understanding of People compliance requirements
• Experience working at a SaaS company
• Excellence in Excel or Google Sheets
• Exceptional communication, both in writing and orally
• Proven attention to detail
• Be within 2 hours of Cleveland
