Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is growing again! We are in search of an Office Manager with Medical Assistant experience for our Columbus location.

The Office manager will coordinate and oversee administrative duties in an office and ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly.

Office Manager Job Duties:

  • Serve as first line manager on duty for all on-site issues including, but not limited to: extended patient wait times, upset patients, staff interpersonal issues, and monitoring of daily clinic schedule.
  • Assist the Practice Administrator in preparing and distributing weekly staff schedules.
  • Serve as the go-to person for facility issues, including but not limited to: IT issues, plumbing, safety concerns, and equipment malfunction.
  • Monitor and order supplies- clinical, office, and patient.
  • Cross-train to cover for MA and front office roles in the event of a staffing shortage.
  • Receive all mail and packages and direct them to the appropriate person/department; including signing for all deliveries.
  • Identify needs for additional staffing
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews for new employees.
  • Assist in the development of training documents and coordinate onboarding and training for new employees.
  • Assist Manager with annual reviews as requested.
  • Patriciate in leadership meetings as requested.
  • Ensure coordination of the site team with all other areas of the company.
  • Assist medical providers with any issues/projects as needTroubleshoothoot company’s software systems as needed.
  • Monitor/maintain a positive work environment.
  • Actively participate in the leadership development program
  • A culture-focused manager is a must
  • Ability to learn other positions that will be reporting to the onsite manager
  • A great attitude is a must
Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant experience
  • Management experience is required
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication and listening
  • Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers
  • A high level of integrity and trust-ability to keep the information confidential
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish
