Ojibwe Tutor Job at The College of St. Scholastica
The Ojibwe Language Tutor assists students in Beginning Ojibwe Language and Culture and Intermediate Ojibwe Language and Culture courses in learning grammar and pronunciation and practicing conversation skills.
Job Duties
- Meet with students in Language Center for regular tutoring hours
- Explain and practice basic grammar
- Demonstrate and practice correct pronunciation
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current CSS student
- Ojibwe language proficiency
- strong understanding of Ojibwe grammar and sentence structure
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative ideas for generating energy and interest in Ojibwe language and culture
