About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for driving the company's online direct-to-professional business and programs online, while understanding and navigating other distribution channels. You are expected to have an excellent understanding of your audience – salon professionals who shop, receive education and/or participate in loyalty programs directly from brand.com & mobile app - their needs, wants and aspirations. Your insights will inform the development and enhancement of relationship marketing programs that are intended to drive education and engagement and convert these customers into OLAPLEX loyalists.
- Develop and implement a strategic commercial plan to drive direct-to-professional sales in North America, where professional sales make up a significant share of overall business
- Be the voice of our direct professional customers and collaborate with Marketing, Education, CRM and Digital teams to define and enhance relationship programs that will drive engagement and engender loyalty
- Use your in-depth understanding of the different Pro audience types to determine the customized educational and training related content for these customers. Liaise with Marketing and Education teams to produce the content; collaborate with Digital and IT teams to deploy the content across touch points relevant to these audiences
- Collaborate with Professional Sales, CRM and Digital teams to define and customize the promotional & communication calendar, including live events, email, and organic social
- Partner closely with Digital team to inform the development of website and app merchandizing and development of Digital tools to support business growth
- Define the Go-To-Market Strategy (including KPIs, holistic 360 activation plan, necessary touchpoints to drive ongoing engagement) for our Loyalty Program in partnership with Marketing, Education, CRM, Digital and IT teams
- Define timelines, deliverables and project manage Loyalty Program execution across all stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Global eCommerce, Education)
- Define the annual budget to grow this business and support all initiatives and communication
- Define and track revenue and engagement KPIs and be available to answer all questions from leadership and internal teams
- Understand, interpret and utilize market data and insights
- Identify opportunities for improvement within teams, procedures or processes and develop plans to address them collaboratively
- Lead by example by creating a positive work environment that fosters collaboration
- Establish credible and collaborative working relationships with internal cross-functional colleagues
About You:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years' experience managing B2B sales
- Experience of managing B2B relationship and loyalty marketing programs preferred
- Experience in managing a business with P&L accountability
- Professional Hair Care experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven to be effective and efficient in laterally managing multiple stakeholders to deliver sales and growth
- Comfortable working with ambiguity while maintaining professionalism
- Finds creative solutions to solve problems
