WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Specialist, Payment Operations - Automated Clearing House is responsible for supporting the processing of payments and related activities.
Additionally, this individual is involved in providing recommendations on how to improve processes or change the performance results directly relating to payment processing and supporting activities. As recommendations are approved, the incumbent plays a role in implementing the processes.
This position is location-dependent. The job is in Florham Park, NJ. Mon-Fri 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS -
- Adheres to Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics
- Follows all policies and procedures relative to Consumer Compliance laws and regulators and best practice recommendations.
- Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Reports issues of concern or matters of potential loss to the Manager - along with a possible solution
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert within his/her process
- Supports processing of payment transactions and related activities.
EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree; in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
WORK EXPERIENCE – 1-2 years; Experience in Banking - ACH Operations and Management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES -
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and volume
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with customers, team, and management
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide concise and clear communication with a wide audience of internal departments
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL or Microsoft Access is a plus

- Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasionally moving and lifting equipment and furniture are required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
