Our Operations Specialist will work out of our C&I Division, located in Ontario, CA. This role will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the execution of all specified projects and initiatives as assigned by the management of the organization, along with establishing project priorities and schedules.
Target Salary: $65K - $75K+ depending on experience
Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Resource management/Scheduling
- Regularly maintain and update project labor resource management tools to ensure that projects are scheduled and communicated internally and with our subcontractor partners
- Work with Project Managers and Director of Construction to ensure that installation resources are scheduled to meet our project needs
- Labor RFP/RFQ process
- Assist in the creation of construction documents and RFP packages
- Manage the queue of inbound requests and subcontractor outreach to obtain labor quotes to support our estimating and project management teams
- Review responses for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding questions, clarifications and timing (i.e. RFI process)
- Subcontractor management
- Assist in research and vetting of new subcontractor partners as needed to support our Lighting, EV Charging, and other installation activities throughout the US
- Monitor and ensure that subcontractor certificates of insurance and vendor agreements are up to date and meet the SitelogIQ contractual requirements
- Permit process
- Oversee the queue of permit applications for projects (EV and lighting)
- Manage permits from application through closeout using third party and internal resources
- Consult, interact, or collaborate with executive management, other internal/external staff, and/or consultants to facilitate the successful implementation of new or revised policies, programs, and procedures
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Operations Specialist Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an operational role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Self-motivated and able to work well individually and/or with teams
- Ample skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Demonstrable maintenance skills to include database development and management
- Ability to develop, evaluate, and edit the content, structure, and format of a range of written materials
- Advanced and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
- Up to 10% travel will be required for team meetings, offsite events, and infrequent job site visits.
