Job Description:
We are looking for a middleware Systems Administrator who can setup and configure portfolio of Oracle middleware & .Net applications running on Oracle Linux Platform & Microsoft Windows-based servers. The System Administrator will be part of a high performing team that is tasked with migrating current on premises Oracle databases and applications to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) GovCloud, and administering and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support migration of java based applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) from on-premesis environments.
- Support migration of .Net applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) based Microsoft Windows servers
- Provides support for installing and upgrading applications, maintaining complex application and technical configuration settings, and managing the configurations across the development, test, and production environments.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Requires 5+ years of experience with Oracle middleware.
- At least 10 years of Information Technology Systems sdministration experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing Oracle Middleware (Oracle IAM/OAM, OBIEE/OAS, SOA Suite, Oracle WebCenter Portal/Spaces, Oracle Content Server) solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of Linux or Unix-like computer operating system.
- Demonstrated experience of Weblogic Application Server.
- Demonstrated experience of Apache HTTP Server/Oracle HTTP Server.
- Experience with some combination of the following: Supporting Database systems and Scripting solutions
