Jones Family Orthodontics is currently hiring for a full-time Orthodontic Technician / Sterilization and Lab Technician to process instruments, perform 3D printing, and fabricate appliances in our Monroe, WA dental lab. This dental lab position earns a competitive wage of $16 - $20/hr.

DAY-TO-DAY

This dental lab position works an ideal schedule of Monday, 8:20 am - 6:20 pm, Tuesday, 6:50 am - 5:00 pm, and Wednesday, 6:50 am - 5:00 pm.

In this dental assisting position, you are a valuable support to our orthodontist and our assistants. Your days are full of fun as you lend a helping hand wherever you are needed most. As patients arrive, you greet them warmly, make sure their chair is ready, and ensure that the instruments are clean and ordered. You then take a history and input the information into the patient's record. If they have removable appliances, you clean and polish them. Sometimes x-rays or scans are also needed, and so you assist with those.

A good portion of your day is spent in the dental lab where you process the instruments, do 3D printing, and fabricate orthodontic appliances. Attentive to detail, you record each appliance in our system and make sure that the inventory is managed in an accurate way. Throughout your shift, you keep an eye on the office itself, cleaning up here and there to maintain our warm and welcoming atmosphere. Personable and friendly, you seek out chances to interact with our patients and cheer them on. Their journey isn't always easy, but you know it's worth it in the end. You love helping our patients develop the beautiful smiles they dream of!

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ORTHODONTIC TECHNICIAN / STERILIZATION AND LAB TECHNICIAN

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state dental assisting license
• Willingness to travel for continuing education or seminars
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including the capacity to lift up to 35 lbs.
