Location: Clinton, IL (Braidwood Facility)
Compensation: $128K-$143K Base Salary plus annual bonus
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Description
As an Outage Specialist, you will be responsible for directing the development of detailed plans / schedules for forced, planned, and refueling outages while ensuring shutdown safety, technical specifications, and plant procedures adherence. You will direct the implementation of the outage schedule during the execution of the outage and will cross all organizational boundaries working with all departments and designated team leaders for pre-outage preparation and execution. You will be responsible for intradepartmental communication and working relationship to establish an outage plan to meet the station goals. You will mentor others in the work management organization and provide oversight of meetings conducted by schedulers to ensure appropriate participation, commitments, and goals are achieved. You will also maintain appropriate documentation and packages regarding forced outages. You will own milestones associated with schedule development and risk screening and will monitor team performance to assure effectiveness during outage execution.

Position Requirements
- Navy Nuke Background is the ideal fit.
- BWR-6 Reactor experience.
- Shutdown Safety Program knowledge very beneficial.
- 10+ years of nuclear power plant experience.
- Experience with scheduling software (Maximo, Passport, or Primavera preferred).
- Critical Path scheduling Method knowledge.
