A full-time exempt status position for the purpose of assessing, authorizing, supervising, and delivering care to patients with substance use disorders, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. This director coordinates, manages, supervises, and delivers all services and in conjunction with the clinical team including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, case conferences, referrals for services, family meetings, group work, individual counseling, consumer advocacy, liaison with other community agencies, discharges, and any other services.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs a comprehensive clinical needs assessment
• Contributes to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the individualized treatment plan
• Perform therapeutic clinical skills development
• Offers services appropriate to meet the clients’ needs
• Perform crisis intervention and 24 on-call support to employees and clients for crisis intervention and emergency services linkages
• Participates in program development, implementation of new initiatives, and marketing/community engagement activities
• Provides support, clinical supervision, and direction to all programs employees including orientation, training, performance evaluation, and professional development
• Assists consumers with accessing and engaging in community based wellness and recovery services

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or A Master’s Degree in a recognized Behavioral Health discipline
• LCSW or LMHC required
• CASAC required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
• Experience in strategic development and operational management
• Demonstrated ability in the development, management, and provision of comprehensive outpatient behavioral health programs/ services
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and productively with clients and professional staff
