Life & Purpose Behavioral Health is seeking to fill the full-time positions of Counselor/ Therapist Crisis Specialist, School Based Counselor/ Therapist, and Outpatient Counselor/ Therapist. These positions working location will be located in Marietta, Ohio or in a school district located in Washington County, Ohio.

Counselor/ Therapist Crisis Specialist will provide mental health and/or alcohol & drug addiction recovery diagnostic assessments, individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling and crisis intervention services. This position would provide crisis intervention or crisis therapy services in the office and in various community locations, including jails, juvenile center, and hospitals. These services may be provided face to face or via telehealth. Services will include crisis counseling, crisis case management, consultation, and crisis intervention. Working location would be Marietta, Ohio.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor/ Therapist to provide mental health and/or alcohol & drug addiction recovery diagnostic assessments, individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling and crisis intervention services.

Full-Time School Based Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health and alcohol & drug addiction recovery diagnostic assessments, individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling and crisis intervention services to high school aged children and their family members. This position will be responsible for managing a Behavioral Health Day treatment program within Warren Local Schools or individual therapy services in Washington County, Ohio.

These positions are eligible for a $2,000 signing bonus

Minimum Requirements for all positions:

• Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor ( LPCC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor designation ( LPCC-S), Licensed Social Worker( LSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker ( LISW), Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation ( LISW-S), Marriage and Family Therapist ( MFT), Independent Marriage and Family Therapist ( IMFT) Independent Marriage and Family Therapist with Supervisor designation( IMFT-S),licensure with the Ohio CSWMFT Board.
• Must have a Master’s Degree
• Other Requirements: Counseling and diagnostic assessment skills, cultural competency, safety practices, handling aggressive behavior and Basic First Aid and CPR.

Position Overview:

• Provide diagnostic assessments, and individual, family and group counseling and crisis intervention services for mental health and alcohol and drug clients.
• Responsible for documentation and timely completion of case records, reporting on cases, and other records as necessary
• Will have clinical supervision in accordance with agency policy and procedure as well as regulatory bodies, as applicable.
