Responsibilities:
-Receiving incoming packages and prepping for sorting.
-Reviewing dates, addresses, barcodes, and other postage information for all outbound mail.
-Sorting and categorizing packages by hand and operating machines.
-Redirecting mislabeled or illegible packages for returns.
Requirements:
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Attention to detail.
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-Able to stand for long periods of time, operate mail processing machinery, and lift mail bins.
-The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.
-The ability to be dependable and reliable
