Position Overview: Packaging Team Member
Northern United Brewing Company is seeking a Packaging Team Member to assist in all aspects of our canning, bottling and keg filling operations. The right candidate will be safety minded, efficient, quality-focused, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and be a team player.
The Packaging Team Member will work within a fast-paced team environment to operate manual and automated packaging equipment. They are responsible for meeting production demands while maintaining a safe work environment and producing a quality product. This position encompasses all aspects of canning, bottling and kegging, as well as cleaning and maintenance of packaging equipment. Some tasks outside of the packaging department may be required as needed.
This position requires the ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending.
Employee must safely lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Proper use of company provided personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Requires working in a wide temperature range environment, proper handling of hazardous chemicals, and operation of complex machinery.
Must be available to work occasional overtime and rare Saturday and/or Sundays as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to $16.00 per hour based on experience
