Parachute Rigger (FT) Job at ArmyRec Houston
Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Parachute Rigger who supervises or packs and repairs cargo and personnel parachutes, and rigs equipment and supply containers for an airdrop. This is not a civilian contractor position.
No experience is necessary. The position is entry-level.
JOB DUTIES:

- Ensure the safety of every paratrooper you work with
- Inspect, test, and pack parachutes, their extraction and release systems, and all the associated components of the parachute system
- Responsible for the safety and repair of all parachute equipment before, during, and after an airdrop operation
- Assembling rigging components and securing all the supplies in the aircraft
PAID TRAINING:
10 weeks of Basic Training.
16 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

- No felonies (Defer Adjudication included).
