JobSummary
The paralegal position will primarily services our Personal Injury department, and will encompass a variety of roles within the firm, including (but not limited to):
- Provide pre-litigation, litigation and post-litigation support to the handling attorney
- Prepare motor vehicle accident and premises liability complaints;
- Draft Plaintiff’s Discovery (Interrogatories and Request for Production);
- Execute legal research;
- Request, organize and summarize medical records;
- Extensive contact with clients and physician’s offices;
- Create persuasive demand packages;
- Monitor client’s treatment and refer to specialists if necessary;
- Act as a liaison between client and attorney;
- Negotiate out of pocket expenses and settlement with adjusters
- Proof-read general correspondence;
- Requesting insurance documents such as PIP ledgers and declaration pages
- Maintain contact with clients and provide case updates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.05 - $19.32 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Microsoft Office (Preferred)
- Analysis skills (Preferred)
