Part-time Administrative Assistant Job at Rainford & Rainford PC
We are a small CPA firm located in Vineyard Haven seeking a part time administrative assistant for our upcoming busy season. This is a seasonal role from January-April, with the potential to become a year round part time position for the right candidate.
This position will require around 20 hours per week, between the hours of 9-5, spread over 3-5 days a week. It is an ideal role for a parent with kid's in school, as you could work limited hours during the day a few days a week.
A transportation stipend would be considered for off-island candidates commuting to the island.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones with professionalism and confidence
- Route calls appropriately using multi-office phone system
- Administrative support to partners and tax preparation staff
- Managing our client intake process for MV based clientele, including but not limited to document organizing, scanning and filing
- Printing and processing tax returns
- Significant client interaction and assistance
- Supporting and working together with our other three full administrative assistants in our Plymouth and New Bedford offices
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Extremely reliable
- Must be a team player
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Accounting or financial background a huge plus but not required
- Prior administrative or customer service experience preferred
