Position Summary: The dietary aide assists with preparing and serving meals as well as maintaining the dietary area in a clean, safe condition.
Job Duties:
Assist with meal preparation.- Portion and serve food according to established menu.
- Prepare dining room prior to each meal.
- Assure resident meal trays are clean and contain the proper diet prior to leaving the kitchen.
- Deliver and pick up food carts in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and dining room, cleaning dining room tables and chairs following each meal.
Minimum of High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.- Experience with quantity food preparation.
- Able to understand and follow directions.
- Good interpersonal skills.
