We are looking for hard-working and eager individuals to join our client’s team of -Stock Picker/Packer located in Roanoke, VA. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are looking to further their career in light Industrial roles.

Job Description:

• Manually pick products off shelves to fill orders.
• Transport in-progress orders to location of next item on order list.
• Scan products using Radio Frequency (RF) units.
• Determine order information using Radio Frequency (RF) units.
• Follow safety procedures for equipment use to reduce potential for accidents
• Transport picked orders to packing station to be prepared for shipping,
• Build appropriate (correct size) box based on order, weight, and size.
• Label boxes with barcodes for product and order tracking.
• Understand safety procedures for picking products off shelves.
• Follow packaging procedures for pallets to fill large orders.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Clean factory to maintain proper work environment.
• Review manifests, invoices, and orders to ensure accurate orders.
• Examine products to ensure damaged products are not shipped.
• Lift products to place them on pallet.
• Lift things from ground level to a level of 3 feet.
• Understand quota requirements to accomplish required production level.

Requirements:

• Must be able to clear a 7-year lenient background check.
• Must be able to clear a 9-panel drug screening not including THC.
• 1-3 years experience in the role.
• H.S Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the site.

Hours: Part Time- Tues. - Friday starting at 3:30 pm or 8pm (working a 4 hr. shift)

Pay: $16.75/hr.
