Parts Driver/ Warehouse Worker Job Description

Red Apple Air has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Parts Driver/ Warehouse Worker. Successful candidates are organized, practice safe driving practices, able to perform in a fast-paced environment, and able to efficiently multi-task. This is a full-time or part-time depending on candidate abilities, reporting to the Warehouse and Installation Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload trucks, inspect products for defects and damages
• Deliver parts and equipment to jobsites
• Responsible for quality control
• Able to work with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
• Maintain safe vehicles by conducting pre-trip inspections on vehicles
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year prior driving experience
• Ability to work professionally with internal and external customers and vendors
• Ability to drive several types of company vehicles and satisfy the requirements of our insurance carrier
• Must pass a drug screening and background check
• PC proficiency with an emphasis in Microsoft Office desired
• Knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment desirable
• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Positive and energetic attitude

WORK CONDITIONS:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-100 lbs
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Some work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
• Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
