Express Employment is currently assisting an Eye Doctors office in Pocahontas with their search for a Patient Account Representative!
Job Duties:
- Collect payments
- Post insurance company payments
- Enter charges for surgeries, procedures, and other services
- Cheerfully answers patient inquiries in person and over the phone
- Prints and balances the day sheet to prepare receipts for deposit
- Back up scheduling for outside CAT Evals
- Create/change doctors schedule when needed for all locations
- Assist with other patient service responsibilities as requested
Skills & Requirements:
- General desire to help patients in all roles
- One year experience in cashiering or billing in a health care environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to sit for long periods of time with occasional bending
- Computer experience with strong data entry/word processing skills
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
