Patient Registration Float Pool Team Job at Inova Health System
As a member of the Patient Registration Float Pool Team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout Inova Health System by identifying and fulfilling customer and departmental needs. To help achieve our mission, you will serve as a key component to providing world-class service to patients by filling vacancies within clinical departments. Your ability to travel to various hospitals and outpatient practices within the Alexandria, Loudoun, Mount Vernon, Fair Oaks and Fairfax areas is required.

- Supports scheduling undertakings by conducting pre-service activities such as insurance verification and submission.
- Troubleshoots individual admission issues in collaboration with other departments and/or team members.
- Explains insurance benefits and patient liability by using appropriate communication methods/styles.
- Identifies and communicates payroll authorization and referral requirements.
- Manages assigned work queues to ensure that errors are corrected.
- Other duties as assigned.
