Everyday Will Be Different but Your Primary Duties Include:
- Responsible for the full scope of payroll functions including payroll processing, wage, withholding and deduction updates, garnishment processing, and pay advances.
- Assists with the research of employee benefit plans and vendors.
- Enters, calculates, and verifies timesheets for hourly employees.
- Performs, approves, and transmits semi-monthly payroll to ADP.
- Works with payroll service provider and State agencies to reconcile tax inquiries and discrepancies.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies & processes.
- Researches and resolves problems to ensure accuracy of payroll.
- Creates and maintains payroll processes and procedures.
- Oversees accurate and timely year-end reporting.
- Facilitates the open enrollment process.
- Processes enrollments, terminations, changes, and claims on all benefit plans.
- Answers employee benefit questions and assists in resolving discrepancies.
- Serves as a contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Assists in the administration of the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
- Maintains employee benefit files and update employee payroll records as needed.
