Hogsalt is looking for a Full Time Payroll Coordinator who will assist the Payroll Manager, ensuring time cards are correct, generate reports, and assist to ensure that payroll is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
, including but not limited to:

  • Ensures time cards are accurate and approved by Managers prior to payroll processing dates.
  • Send correspondence to team members as needed for payroll related inquiries.
  • Run and distribute labor reports to management on weekly basis prior to payroll initiation.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets to monitor employee referral bonuses, uniform payments, tip allocations, or other manual uploads as needed.
  • Ensure employees have access to the HRIS system and update credentials as needed.
  • Perform bi-weekly maintenance of the ACA dashboard and informs HR Department of status coverage eligibility changes.
  • Assist with accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates of hourly employees.
  • Run accurate and timely reports for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls in an organized and structured system.
  • Assist with audits by providing records and documentation to Payroll Manager or HR Director on an as-needed basis.


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Excel
  • Proficiency with payroll software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • At least two years of related experience preferred.
  • Hospitality experience strongly preferred.
  • Spanish/English bi-lingual fluency strongly preferred.
