Summary:
The Payroll and HR Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of payroll and human resource duties. The incumbent will be responsible for processing end-to-end multi-state payroll on a biweekly basis in addition to also supporting the HR function with a variety of administrative tasks between payroll cycles. Role is not limited to the above listed responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and consistently process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
- Process ad hoc off-cycle payroll runs for things such as bonus payments or adjustments.
- Assist employees with timesheet and retroactive adjustments via the Time and Attendance software.
- With limited guidance, address and resolve moderately complex employee payroll issues in a timely manner.
- Consistently collects, verifies, and stores payroll related information.
- Assists with payroll related projects and relevant tasks as needed.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payroll related issues with high level of discretion when dealing with privileged information.
- Processes all HR invoices, Purchase Orders (PO’s) and Purchase Requisitions (PR’s) through SAP accounting software.
- Creates communication to company employees and stakeholders regarding all HR announcements and updates (i.e., weekly organization announcements, newsletters, etc.).
- Serves as primary administrative support for the HR department by coordinating department activities, files, and data.
- Creates, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools, including development of standard reports for ongoing customer and internal needs.
- Provides recommendations regarding the development and administration of human resource policies and programs.
- Conducts new employee orientations as needed in person or remotely.
- Updates and maintains LSPI intranet (SharePoint) as needed and ensures accuracy in posted content.
- Performs and conducts presentations as needed where applicable Payroll/HR information is presented to employee populations.
- Completes incoming Verification of Employment requests.
- Assists the HR department with various special projects, as requested.

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or applicable discipline preferred.
- Requires minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience.
- HR and or Administrative Support experience a plus.
- Experience with UKG strongly preferred.
