Milestone Pediatric Therapy Services is a therapist owned and managed clinic that provides therapy in a variety of settings to meet the needs of the children and families of North Georgia. We are growing, and are seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join our Milestone family! We have both clinic based and early intervention opportunities available and will return to the natural environment as DPH recommends. We offer in person and online appointments, whichever the therapist/family prefer. We have a great group of therapists and staff, and we would love for you to join us!

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ and family's goals and needs
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Select and adapt the appropriate evidence-based care and occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
• Motivate patients during treatment to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
• Document patient care services

Skills

• Proven work experience as an occupational therapist
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Drive to continually learn and grow
• Professional behavior
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Georgia state licensure
• Master’s level or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
