Position Summary

The PeopleSoft Business Analyst will provide functional HR expertise and leadership in the design, testing, and implementation of new software or significant enhancements to existing software. Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure business requirements are met or exceeded. Acts as liaison between the business and development team, providing functional direction for technology development requests including projects, enhancements, upgrades, patches, break fixes, etc., within HR, Payroll, and related modules. Provides strategic system analysis of business requirements; creates business cases; documents requirements; designs solutions; creates functional specifications; maintains change documentation; creates and executes test plan and test scripts; creates and coordinates communications; acts as implementation coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with business users to determine requirements
• Designs information systems or revisions to existing system logic
• Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners
• Documents requirements and formulates test plans
• Develops process summary and flow definitions, functional specifications, training material
• Supports and enhances existing systems, as well as developing new ones, defining business requirements, providing accurate estimates, creating/executing system test plans, training plans, creating user documentation, implementing and supporting high quality IT solutions
• PeopleSoft Security Administration
• Provides second-tier production system support
• Maintains, or provides guidance to maintain, core PeopleSoft HR and Payroll tables
• Data steward / data management / configuration
• Development of PS Queries and SQL to fulfill data and reporting requests
• Manage structure and content, and object security for PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
• Advanced subject matter expert in one or more PeopleSoft modules
• PeopleSoft HR and Payroll for NA application knowledge, including core table setup and understanding of table relationships
• Full SDLC support from requirements gathering to system testing
• PS Query, SQL, etc.
• Business Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.

The national pay range for this role is $73,300 to $129,900 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
