We are seeking exceptional, responsible, caring and dedicated individuals for the position of Personal Care Assistant with the opportunity to advance to a Certified Med Tech through our accredited Scholarship program. No medical experience necessary. Excellent on the job training. Employees will be cross trained in Housekeeping. Employee must have the desire to become a Certified Medication Technician through on the job training and Med Tech course.

Job Description:

• Prepares and documents medications which are administered to residents as prescribed by the resident's Physician.
• Provide exceptional direct resident care
• Serve meals according to the residents dietary needs
• The ability to care for the resident's social, emotional, physical well being
• Ability to remain calm and handle any emergencies that may arise
• Exceptionally patient, good at listening and responding to resident's needs
• Able to work in a fast paced environment while giving attention to detail
• Providing residents with services and activities as assigned and keeping a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Transport residents to appointments as needed
• Empathy and the ability to care for the resident's social, emotional, physical and mental health
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible and organized with good written and verbal communication
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must obtain CPR within 30 days of hire
• Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check
• Must have the desire to become a Certified MedTech
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
