We're looking for a Personal Care Assistant to help support our elderly residents in the community. The right candidate will need to be able to drive and have a valid driver's license, be able to take direction well and perform activities such as light cleaning or administering medication. The ideal applicant will be available for flexible shifts and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients and caregivers.
- Assist with basic hygiene, including bathing and using the toilet.
- Maintain records of care.
- Be observant and aware of structural hazards in the home.
- Assist with dressing and undressing of patients.
- Help patients to eat, move, and dress themselves.
- Be caring and compassionate toward patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
