Personal Support Specialist (PSS) - Per diem Job at Maine Veterans' Homes
We are seeking per diem Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to work in our 28 bed, non-locked Assisted Living Unit.
Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Primary Responsibilities:
- Cues and assists residents, as needed, with self-care, (i.e., dressing, face and hand washing, toileting, bathing and other grooming and personal hygiene activities), seeking assistance when appropriate and maintaining resident’s rights and dignity.
- Follows all facility, State, Federal and VA rules and regulations and MVH policies and procedures.
- Follows approaches related to the spiritual, psychosocial, and personal needs of residents, according to the Plan of Care.
